Thailand is a Southeast Asian
country that is landlocked in between Myanmar, Laos and Cambodia.
Geographically the regional area is very hot and humid due to it being on the
coast of the Pacific ocean and the country being quite close to the equator. The
average temperature being 36 Celsius, the daily weather still is divided into 3
seasons such as hot, cool and wet. Hot season is from March to June. While they
have the wet season from June to October. Then from November to February it is
the cool season and is the best time to travel there if you would prefer a less
hot and humid weather. Thailand’s currency is the Baht and 1 US dollar is equal
to 31.74… Thai Baht. The country has a constitutional monarchy which means they
have a king and a president who represents the National Assembly of Thailand.
Thailand is a cosmopolitan country
but 95% of the population (70 million) is Theravada Buddhists making most of
the cultural practices related to Buddhism, but Hinduism has had quite the bit
of a influence thus you can see a lot of similarities between Thai and Indian art
and etc., What unifies the cosmopolitan citizens is the language; Thai. But there
are many festivals which are connected to the religions. For example Yi Peng
the lantern festival. It’s a festival that takes place every year during November
according to the lunar calendar. Its celebrated only when the moon is full to
raise the thousands of lanterns which the people raise to ask for good luck and
fortune. The Ghost Festival is held on the weekend of the 6th full moon of the
lunar calendar. It usually has the main parade on the Friday with pageants and
music on the Saturday and Buddhist ceremonies on the Sunday. The Lopburi MonkeyBanquet
is a festival which is enjoyed by monkeys and tourists since the locals set a
feast for the monkeys with fruits and vegetables. The tourists are also allowed
to add to the table but they must be careful of the monkeys stealing their
belongings.
Thailand and
Mongolia worship the same religion but different in the type, so they have some
different festivals and cultural practices but the roots are same. These two
countries both celebrate lunar new years but Thailand celebrates the Chinese
New Year while Mongolia celebrates it a little bit differently. I believe that
their culture is different from ours because they have a different religion,
history and origins. Other countries (neighbors) influenced the culture a lot too,
plus every country is different and unique, and we have different types of citizens,
different lands and different histories .

We think Mongolian and Poland's traditions are different. The Culture of Mongolia has been heavily influenced by the Mongolnomadic way of life.
Polish culture has a historical context, but it continues to evolve, incorporating old traditions with modern life. The culture of Poland developed as a result of its geography and connections to other countries, and it's rich thousand-year history.
The Poland of today continues the traditions and customs of this history with origins in the Slavic culture. There were even Byzantine and Ottoman influences. Approximately 95 percent of Poland's inhabitants are Roman Catholics, with about 75 percent attending church services regularly. This church affiliation has influenced the holidays and traditions that are such an important part of Polish culture.
We think their culture is different from our own country because Mongolians are influenced by nomadic way of life, but Poland's way of life is modern. SOURCES
UK is known as United Kingdoms and is an island country located in west Europe. The country itself is made up of England, Scotland, Whales and northern Ireland. Its surrounded by large waters such as the Atlantic ocean, the Celtic sea, North sea, and the English channel. With these seas its climate is windy and rainy most of the time. Northern regions would most likely stay cold, meanwhile the southern parts of the country would remain more colder. The monarch kingdom has an estimated number of civilians of 66'040'229 people by 2017. This makes the nation speak a variety of languages other than the native English one, such as Scots, Ulster Scots, Welsh, Cornish, Irish to name a few.
The country has been in monarchy ever since history. Thus, having a long and rich history. It also is a very multicultural country meaning that there are different holidays for different religions, beliefs, ideas etc. But a there is a celebration in particular that might be interesting to know about. The " Bank Holidays" is an event that happens through all of UK even though they would be celebrated in different times across regions of the country. This was an influential result of the Bank Holidays act in 1871. On this day banks as well as other work places have a paid holiday. Even if the Queens birthday is widely celebrated by a parade it still quiet hasn't become a tradition yet. As a widespread nation and with so much historical information; there is still no such holiday as a " National Day". But after the 4 nations had turned into one country, they have had celebrations to fest on interracial communication and such. These would be an interesting holidays. But within those people exist many sub celebration and fests to be known. Thus some may not be exactly a traditional holiday.
The culture here and the culture across the world differs so much. As an example if we take Mongolia, we have lesser people and the civilians are mostly known to be from a singular ethnic group or have similar beliefs and religions. This may hinder many people to do things at once but the holiday will be of something the same. Meanwhile in an more ethnically open and variable there will be more people celebrating several things during different times of the year.In conclusion, The tradition and the culture of the United Kingdoms can be widespread and be varying people to people, meanwhile in Mongolia tradition seems more of the same and similar things kept to the only few ethnic groups existing in the country.

It was celebrated to honour the goddess Athena. during the festival there are games incorporated religious festival, ceremony , athletic competitions and cultural events nested within a stadium. In fact , the festival was divided into two parts that are The Greater and The Lesser Panatheneae. The ceromony was more important than the games & contests itself. The Panathenaic festival was formed in order to honor the goddess Athena who had become the patron of Athens after having a competition with the god Poseidon where they were to win the favor of the Athenian people by offering the people gifts. The festival would also bring unity among the people of Athens. As for the contests , the festival held contests in a number of musical, athletic and equestrian events. Ancient Greeks wore simple garments that draped over their body. The chiton and peplos were both simple outfits made from one-piece rectangles of fabric, with holes cut out for the head. The peplos was sleeveless, while the chiton covered part of the arms. Over this, people could wear a cloak called a himation. These outfits were usually made of wool, a fabric used frequently in Greek clothing, due to the prevalence of sheep farming in Greece and the country's surprisingly cool winters. Linen was also traditionally used for clothing worn during the hot Mediterranean summers.Comparing Mongolian to Greek , they don't worship same religions because of the different religions there are different types of festivals, tradition and history. I believe climate, geographical location, history and religion can affect the difference between this two countries. Even though, they both have myths and legends to share and history to teach. Also, Mongolian culture and tradition can be affected the nomadic way of life and the greek from the settled way of life.
