China , is a country in East Asia and the world's most populated country, with a population of around 1.404 billion. The country is governed by the Communist Party of China. China emerged as one of the world's earliest civilisations, in the flow of the fertile basin of the Yellow River. For millenia, China's political system was based on heriditary monarchies, or in other words dynasties. There were many ages of the Chinese empire such as Tang and Han dynasties.Their language forms the Sinitic branch of the Sino-Tibetan language family. Most part of the country speaks in standard Mandarin , nowadays.
Chinese people believe red is a lucky colour and they tend to use it during weddings, and celebrational days and holidays. The most common festival in China is the Lunar New Year.During the lunar new year Chinese people eat sweets a lot ,believing the next year would be "sweet". In our teammate Nara's experience living in China, she says: "The continuation of the festival is 15 days , very long, unlike other Asian countries. They start decorating the malls, the streets and everything with red lanterns , wishing good luck for the upcoming year. During the nights of the festival, people start fireworks and do it all night, for the whole 15 days. Also they eat long noodles during lunar new year, representing long life." In general, China is a very unique and nice country, with intresting culture and extraordinary customs and beliefs.
There are many differences and similiarities between Mongolia and China, their culture and belief and a lot more things.Mongolian tradition compares with China ,with our traditional upright script , although the traditional dress , food for example dumplings and other things are similiar. I think some of the details are similiar to each other's culture and tradition because in the early 13th century Mongolia concured almost half of the world and spread it's tradition. But,we think the difference depends on the culture spread after Mongolia's concurance.
In conclusion to this blog, we would like to say every country's culture and tradition is glamorous in their own way. Whether how weird or unique it is they have to keep their tradition ,and pass it on to the next generations.
